The Covenant Classical Warriors basketball squad (Concord, NC), was nudged 55-53 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Carolina Christian Lions (Locust, NC)

With the victory, Carolina Christian advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Lions host Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 3-5. Sugar Creek Charter won 37-29 in their recent non-league battle against The Fletcher School (Charlotte, NC)

The Warriors now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host The Fletcher School for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. Covenant Classical will play a Falcons team coming off a 37-29 non-league loss to Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.
