Nevada High School Basketball - Mineral County ripped by Pyramid Lake

The Pyramid Lake Lakers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Mineral County Serpents to 4 in the Lakers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lakers now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sage Ridge for a 1A West contest on Monday, February 5. Pyramid Lake will meet a Scorpions team coming off a 50-47 league win over Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-4.

The Serpents (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Muckers enter the 1A West contest with a 5-19 record. In their last contest, Virginia City was routed by Sage Ridge (Reno, NV), 33-28, in a league contest.
