In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Adams Central Patriots basketball team scored a close 53-48 triumph over the Northwest Vikings.

The Patriots (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE). The Bluehawks go into the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, St. Cecilia was tipped by Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE), 65-28, in a non-league contest.
