February 1, 2025: Gibsonville, NC 27249 Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles (Huntersville, NC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Greater Vision Academy Lions (Gibsonville, NC), 66-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy advances its record to 10-14 on the year. The Eagles host Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Knights enter the match with a record of 3-11. Gray Stone Day lost 89-16 in their recent league match against North Stanly (New London, NC)
The Lions now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Wake for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Greater Vision Academy will meet a Sabres squad coming off a 67-47 league win over Southeastern HomeSchool (Wilmington, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 17-8.
