New Mexico High School Basketball - Goddard holds off New Mexico Military Institute

February 1, 2025: Roswell, NM 88201

The Goddard Rockets basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host New Mexico Military Institute Colts to 36 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rockets now have a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Lovington for a 4A District 4 game on Tuesday, February 4. Goddard will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 59-46 league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, New Mexico Military Institute falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM) to confront the Warriors in a 3A District 4 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 12-8. Ruidoso won 61-43 in their recent non-league game against Socorro (Socorro, NM)
