February 1, 2025: Pocahontas, AR 72455 The Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO), 73-48 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Redskins now possess a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Gosnell for a 4A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Pocahontas will play a Pirates team coming off a 95-55 league loss to Westside (Jonesboro, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Laquey falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Stoutland (Stoutland, MO) to play the Tigers in a Frisco bout on Friday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-4.
