February 1, 2025: Madison, SD 57042 Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD), 80-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Madison advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD) to meet the Fighting Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Fighting Cougars enter the match with a record of 7-7.
The Bearcats now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Great Plains Lutheran for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Webster will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 68-47 league loss to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 3-9.
