California High School Basketball - American fells Foothill

The American Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Foothill Falcons to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mission San Jose for a Mission Valley game on Wednesday, February 5. American will confront a Warriors team coming off a 57-28 league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Foothill falls to 5-17 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to California (San Ramon, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a East Bay game on Tuesday, February 4. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 16-8. California won 61-56 in their recent non-league game against Antelope (Antelope, CA)
