The Fernley Vaqueros were victorious over the visiting Spring Creek Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 50-37 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Vaqueros face the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) in a 3A Northern - East outing, on Wednesday, February 5. Fernley will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Buckaroos enter the outing with a 13-6 record after their 47-36 league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV).

The Spartans (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the 3A Northern - East outing with a 7-11 record.
