West Virginia High School Basketball - WestSide bested by Midland Trail
February 1, 2025: Clear Fork, WV 24822 Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV), 50-30 in a league match.
With the victory, Midland Trail advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Patriots host Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 14-4. Summit Christian Academy won 45-14 in their recent league match against Victory Baptist Academy (Beaver, WV)
The Renegades now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host River View for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. WestSide will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 63-27 non-league win over Mount View (Welch, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 9-7.
