Maine High School Basketball - St. Dominic fells Sacopee Valley
February 1, 2025: Cornish, ME 04041 The St. Dominic Saints basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Sacopee Valley Hawks to 29 in the Saints non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Saints now have a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Waynflete for a D South game on Thursday, February 6. St. Dominic will confront a Flyers team coming off a 25-22 non-league win over Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Flyers record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Sacopee Valley falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Hawks host North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME) to confront the Panthers in a C South game on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 10-6. North Yarmouth Academy won 46-32 in their recent non-league game against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME)
