California High School Basketball - Village Christian overwhelms Valley Christian

The Village Christian Crusaders basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Valley Christian Defenders to 30 in the Crusaders league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now have a 17-8 record. They play next when they host Heritage Christian for a Olympic game on Tuesday, February 4. Village Christian will confront a Warriors team coming off a 47-40 non-league loss to Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) (Los Angeles, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Valley Christian falls to 9-15 on the campaign. The Defenders travel to Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA) to confront the Heralds in a Olympic game on Tuesday, February 4. The Heralds go into the game with a record of 10-15. Whittier Christian lost 49-35 in their recent league game against Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA)
