February 1, 2025: Needville, TX 77461 The Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) soccer overwhelmed the visiting La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX), 7-1 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Bluejays now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Stafford for a 4A Region 3 District 21 challenge on Thursday, February 6. Needville will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, La Marque moves to 2-8 on the year. The Cougars host Brazosport (Freeport, TX) to encounter the Exporters in a 4A Region 3 District 21 challenge on Thursday, February 6.
