Kentucky High School Basketball - Grant County can't hold off Gallatin County
February 11, 2025: Dry Ridge, KY 41035 Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), 55-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gallatin County advances its record to 15-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Oldham County (Buckner, KY) to face the Colonels in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 8-14. Oldham County lost 85-75 in their recent non-league match against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)
The Braves now own a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tates Creek for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Grant County will face a Commodores squad coming off a 89-68 non-league win over Danville (Danville, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 10-11.
