Missouri High School Basketball - Humansville can't get by Northeast Vernon County
February 11, 2025: Walker, MO 64790 Northeast Vernon County Knights (Walker, MO) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Humansville Tigers (Humansville, MO), 46-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northeast Vernon County advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Bronaugh (Bronaugh, MO) to meet the Wildcats in a Golden Valley Vernon match on Thursday, February 13. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 10-12.
The Tigers now own a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Halfway for a Polk County match on Friday, February 14. Humansville will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 63-59 non-league loss to Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-4.
