The South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) basketball edged the host Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV), 61-59 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Black Eagles now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. South Charleston will play a Patriots team coming off a 66-63 non-league win over Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 22-3.

With the loss, Huntington falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV) to play the Patriots in a Two Rivers bout on Thursday, February 13.
