In Tuesday's league contest, the host Groves Falcons basketball team scored a close 43-36 triumph over the Royal Oak Ravens.

The Falcons (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Detroit Country Day was tipped by Haslett (Haslett, MI), 80-52, in a non-league contest.
