In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Minersville Battlin' Miners basketball team scored a good 65-51 triumph over the Nativity BVM Green Wave.

In their next game, the Green Wave battle the Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) in a Schuylkill County 2 contest, on Monday, February 17. Nativity BVM will attempt to better on its 14-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 15-7 record after their 63-55 non-league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, PA).
