The Porter Ridge Pirates basketball squad (Indian Trail, NC), was outscored 65-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC)

With the victory, Legion Collegiate Academy advances its record to 22-13 on the year.

The Pirates now own a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sun Valley for a 4A Southern Carolina battle on Friday, February 14. Porter Ridge will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 4-10.
