The Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) basketball crushed the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 72-16 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Ravens now possess a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Garinger for a 4A Southwestern bout on Friday, February 14. Rocky River will play a Wildcats team coming off a 59-25 league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-18.

With the loss, West Mecklenburg falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Hawks host Harding University (Charlotte, NC) to play the Rams in a 3A/4A Queen City bout on Friday, February 14.
