Maryland High School Basketball - Surrattsville nudges Thomas Stone
February 13, 2023: Waldorf, MD 20601 Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 31-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Surrattsville upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Hornets host College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The go into the bout with a record of 1-7. College Park Academy lost 61-25 in their recent league bout against Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Thomas Stone will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 55-23 league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD).
