In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting United South Panthers basketball team scored a good 61-48 triumph over the Jay Mustangs.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 15. United South will attempt to better on its 20-8 season record. The Greyhounds enter the match with a 23-11 record after their 39-26 non-league win over Mission (Mission, TX).

With the defeat, Jay moves to 23-12 on the year.
