February 13, 2025: Maquoketa, IA 52060 The Maquoketa Cardinals basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Clinton River Kings to 61 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they host West Delaware for a non-league game on Monday, February 17. Maquoketa will confront a Hawks team coming off a 69-62 non-league win over Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-16.
With the loss, Clinton falls to 0-19 on the campaign. The River kings host Assumption (Davenport, IA) to confront the Knights in a Mississippi game on Friday, February 14.
