The Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting Groves Falcons to 60 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Marian for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Detroit Country Day will play a Mustangs team coming off a 63-53 non-league win over St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Groves falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Troy (Troy, MI) to play the Colts in a Oakland - White game on Friday, February 14. The Colts go into the game with a record of 6-10. Troy won 35-33 in their recent league game against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI)
