Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), 56-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pius X advances its record to 18-4 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Duchesne (Omaha, NE) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 6-13. Duchesne lost 50-37 in their recent non-league match against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE)

The Dragons now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Standing Bear for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Gretna will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 53-16 non-league win over Schuyler (Schuyler, NE). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-12.
