The James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Mercer Christian Academy Cavaliers (Princeton, WV), 63-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Midland Trail (Hico, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Midland Trail walloped Clay County (Clay, WV), 55-41, in a non-league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Victory Baptist Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Mercer Christian Academy will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 88-18 league win over Beth Haven Christian (Omar, WV). The Saints record now stands at 7-9.
