Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), 37-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Richwood upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Meadow Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 66-40 non-league win over Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV).
