Kentucky High School Basketball - Western Hills toppled by Bourbon County
February 14, 2025: Frankfort, KY 40601 Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY), 79-71 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bourbon County upgrades its record to 10-12 on the year. The Colonels host Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY) to face the Thorobreds in a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. The Thorobreds enter the match with a record of 11-11. Harrison County won 58-46 in their recent non-league match against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY)
The Wolverines now sport a 6-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Rogers Clark for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Western Hills will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 54-38 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 22-4.
