In Friday's league test, the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), by a score of 71-44.

Next, the Rockets clash with the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a Fox Valley test, on Wednesday, February 19. Central will attempt to improve on its 21-8 season record. The Whip-Purs come into the test with a 11-18 record after their 69-35 league loss to McHenry (McHenry, IL).

The Golden Eagles (15-14) will now prepare for their test against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators come into the Fox Valley test with a 25-4 record. In their last test, Crystal Lake South bounced Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL), 78-53, in a league test.
