Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), 90-86 in a league match.

With the victory, Lincoln Charter advances its record to 16-8 on the year.

The Raptors now own a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corvian Community for a non-league match on Monday, February 17. Mountain Island Charter will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 67-56 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-6.
