The South Hills Scorpions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs to 7 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, South Hills moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Clear Falls (League City, TX) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, February 16. The Knights come into the game with a record of 2-1. Clear Falls won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Ball (Galveston, TX)

The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Bay City (Bay City, TX). The Blackcats come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Bay City was routed by George Ranch (Richmond, TX), 7-1, in a non-league test.
