The St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) baseball trounced the host Jena Giants (Jena, LA), 16-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Purple Knights now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. St. Augustine will clash with a Swamp Owls team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over John Ehret (Marrero, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Jena drops to 1-3 on the year. The Giants host Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA) to clash with the Storm in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 17.
