February 15, 2025: Hastings, NE 68901 Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE), 53-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Ashland-Greenwood upgrades its record to 16-5 on the year. The Bluejays host Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE) to face the Cavaliers in a C1 District 3 match on Tuesday, February 18. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 10-10. Bishop Neumann lost 36-33 in their recent non-league match against Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE)
The Patriots now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kearney Catholic for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Adams Central will face a Stars squad coming off a 60-53 non-league win over Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE). The Stars record now stands at 11-10.
