The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) and the host Burlington Cougars (Burlington, CO), observed Sedgwick County's basketball team overcome Burlington by a margin of 56-45.

The Cougars (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Haxtun (Haxtun, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs come into the 3A/2A Lower Platte challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Haxtun defeated Caliche (Iliff, CO), 62-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO) in a 2A/1A Union Pacific challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Burlington will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record.
