The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cordova Wolverines (Cordova, AK) and the host Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK), observed Cordova's basketball team knock off Mountain City Christian Academy by a score of 50-38.

The Wolverines (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK). The Wolfpack come into the non-league challenge with a 14-3 record. In their last challenge, Unalakleet prevailed over McQueen (Kivalina, AK), 83-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Mountain City Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Moose come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 57-49 league loss to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK).
