Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple River defeats Jackson County Central
February 15, 2025: Mapleton, MN 56065 The Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) basketball were winner over the visiting Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN), 78-64 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 21-15 record. They play next when they host LaMoure/Litchville-Marion for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Maple River will play a Loboes team coming off a 71-55 league loss to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock (Linton, ND). The Loboes record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Jackson County Central falls to 22-5 on the campaign. The Huskies host St. James (St. James, MN) to play the Saints in a AA Section 3 bout on Monday, February 17. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 14-11. St. James lost 82-66 in their recent non-league bout against Waseca (Waseca, MN)
