Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 62-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Parkersburg South upgrades its record to 6-14 on the year. The Patriots travel to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV) to face the Mohigans in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Mohigans enter the match with a record of 15-3. Morgantown lost 48-40 in their recent non-league match against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV)

The Buccaneers now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis County for a Big Ten match on Tuesday, February 18.
