North Carolina High School Basketball - Freedom overwhelms Ashe County

February 17, 2025: Morganton, NC 28655

The Freedom Patriots basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Ashe County Huskies to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now have a 14-10 record. They play next when they travel to South Caldwell for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Freedom will confront a Spartans team coming off a 62-61 league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, Ashe County falls to 10-14 on the campaign.
