Indiana High School Basketball - Linton-Stockton overwhelms Indianapolis Metropolitan
February 18, 2023: Linton, IN 47441 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) and the visiting Indianapolis Metropolitan Pumas (Indianapolis, IN), saw Linton-Stockton's basketball squad wallop Indianapolis Metropolitan by a count of 85-64.
With the victory, Linton-Stockton upgrades its record to 21-1 on the campaign. The Miners host Evansville Central (Evansville, IN) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 7-13.
Next up, the Pumas play the Eminence Eels (Eminence, IN) in a Greater Indianapolis challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Indianapolis Metropolitan will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Eels come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 72-27 non-league loss to Traders Point Christian (Whitestown, IN).
