Tennessee High School Basketball - Sullivan East can't hold off North Greene
February 18, 2025: Bluff City, TN 37618 North Greene Huskies (Greeneville, TN) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN), 41-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Greene advances its record to 23-4 on the year. The Huskies host Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN) to face the Highlanders in a 1A District 1 match on Saturday, February 22. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 4-20. Cloudland lost 52-37 in their recent league match against University School (Johnson City, TN)
The Patriots now own a 4-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elizabethton for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Sullivan East will face a Fighting Cyclones squad coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN). The Fighting Cyclones record now stands at 16-10.
