The Speedway Sparkplugs basketball squad (Speedway, IN), was crushed 86-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Tri-West Hendricks Bruins (Lizton, IN)

With the victory, Tri-West Hendricks advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Bruins travel to North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN) to meet the Chargin' Chargers in a Sagamore battle on Friday, February 21. The Chargin' Chargers enter the battle with a record of 7-12. North Montgomery won 46-33 in their recent non-league battle against Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN)

The Sparkplugs now own a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indianapolis Scecina Memorial for a Indiana Crossroads battle on Friday, February 21. Speedway will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 48-32 non-league loss to Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-14.
