Colorado High School Basketball - Doherty overwhelms Vista Ridge
February 18, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80922 The Doherty Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Vista Ridge Wolves to 30 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Pine Creek for a game on Thursday, February 20. Doherty will confront a Eagles team coming off a 46-30 league win over Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, Vista Ridge falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Wolves host Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO) to confront the Kadets in a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. The Kadets go into the game with a record of 6-4. Air Academy won 67-61 in their recent non-league game against Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO)
