Louisiana High School Basketball - East Iberville toppled by Live Oak
February 19, 2025: Watson, LA 70706 Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA), 63-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Live Oak advances its record to 12-17 on the year. The Eagles host IDEA Bridge (Baton Rouge, LA) to face the Capitals in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Capitals enter the match with a record of 6-18. IDEA Bridge lost 75-36 in their recent non-league match against St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA)
The Tigers now own a 16-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crescent City Christian for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. East Iberville will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 57-39 non-league loss to Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-18.
