Maryland High School Basketball - Westlake trounces Calvert
February 2, 2024: Prince Frederick, MD 20678 The Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) basketball crushed the host Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 72-42 in Friday's league test.
The Wolverines (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars go into the Southern Maryland test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Thomas Stone walloped Northern (Owings, MD), 73-55, in a league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, February 7.
