Maryland High School Basketball - Southern crushes North County
February 20, 2024: Harwood, MD 20776 Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North County Knights (Glen Burnie, MD), 53-26 in a league bout.
With the win, Southern upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Old Mill (Millersville, MD) to play the Patriots in a Anne Arundel County bout on Thursday, February 22. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Old Mill won 47-41 in their recent league bout against North County (Glen Burnie, MD)
Next up, the Knights play the Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD) in a Anne Arundel County bout, on Thursday, February 22. North County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-20 record after their 71-32 league loss to Annapolis (Annapolis, MD).
