The Archbishop Shaw Eagles baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting St. Augustine Purple Knights to 5 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host De La Salle for a non-league test on Friday, February 21. Archbishop Shaw will play a Cavalier team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Cavalier record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, St. Augustine drops to 4-2 on the year. The Purple knights travel to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-2.
