Loris Lions (Loris, SC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC), 60-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Loris advances its record to 17-7 on the year. The Lions host Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC) to face the Predators in a non-league match on Monday, February 24. The Predators enter the match with a record of 19-10. Fox Creek won 68-59 in their recent non-league match against Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC)

The Cougars now own a 15-11 record.
