February 20, 2025: Huntingtown, MD 20639 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) and the visiting Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), observed Huntingtown's basketball team overwhelm Patuxent by a score of 55-27.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, February 21. Patuxent will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD).
