The Carolina International Comets basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals to 49 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 16-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Heritage for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. Carolina International will meet a Cougars team coming off a 62-44 non-league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 24-1.
