The Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) basketball edged the host Roosevelt Mustangs (Dallas, TX), 72-71 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 26-6 record. They play next when they travel to Canton for a non-league bout on Monday, February 24. Sanger will play a Eagles team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 18-15.

With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 19-16 on the campaign.
